A new “triple antigen test” allows people to check if their illness is Covid-19, flu or RSV

Dublin: A new antigen test is coming in order to test for the presence of COVID, flu, and RSV together amid the growing number of winter illnesses.

All three patients have the same symptoms: fever, sore throat, and cough. The 3-in-1 system is being tested with this in mind. It is hoped that the new testing system will help reduce patient confusion.

A triple antigen test will cost you 6.75 euros. A multi-pack of five tests can be obtained for 29.85 euros. The Department of Health anticipates an increased spread of disease due to the winter. Meanwhile, the demand for the tests is expected to rise. The new antigen testing system is considered part of an approach to reduce overcrowding in hospitals.
