Co Wexford witnessed a single vehicle collision on 27th night. A motorcyclist in his 20s was badly injured in the collision.
The man’s motorcycle left the road and struck a ditch. The incident happened at Ballinteskin near New Ross.
The emergency service team attended the man at the scene and was taken to University Hospital Waterford in an ambulance.
The gardaí and the emergency services inspected the scene before midnight.
The road was closed for detailed inspections. Vehicles are asked to deviate through local diversions. Garda forensic collision investigators examined the crash site yesterday morning
Gardaí, New Ross are now seeking for witnesses, anyone who have any clues or proofs about the accident are requested to contact the garda station.
