The unexpected death of actor-director Satish Kaushik stunned the whole country. The 66-year-old renowned actor, noted for his brilliant career path, passed away in Delhi as he was traveling by car. After the postmortem, his body will be brought to Mumbai in the afternoon, where the funeral will take place.
Satish Kaushik was brought to Fortis Hospital in Gurugram after suffering a heart attack, and doctors tried to save him. However, he breathed his last late in the early hours of March 9. His body was brought to Delhi’s Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital for a postmortem. Satish Kaushik’s body is expected to be returned to Mumbai around 3 p.m. today. Following that, his last rites will be performed. Satish Kaushik’s funeral is scheduled for today at 5.30 p.m. at Versova Funeral Home.
In 1985, Satish Kaushik married Shashi Kaushik. The couple was blessed with a son, whom they named Shanu. However, the child died when he was two years old. Despite his brilliant cinematic career, the actor never allowed his personal grief to show on his face.
