Dublin: AIB is rolling out 60 new cash and cheque lodgement machines across its branch network as part of a €40 million nationwide investment programme. The machines will be installed in 60 branches over the coming weeks, including locations in Dublin, Cork, Kildare, Kerry, Wexford, Waterford and several other counties.
The initiative forms part of wider upgrades at 127 branches, with 35 fully refurbished. The new machines allow customers to lodge and withdraw cash, with withdrawals capped at €1,500, while traditional counter services will remain available. Separately, AIB has increased its ATM withdrawal limit from €600 to €1,000.
The investment also prioritises accessibility and sustainability, with improved services for visually impaired customers, reduced carbon emissions, and autism-friendly accreditation across all branches.
