An Indian nurse from Kottayam (Kerala) passed away in Ireland

Dublin: An Indian nurse in Dublin, Vidhu Sojin (45), passed away. She is from Kerala Kottayam (district), Chirailpadam Kollaparam.

Vidhu, who had been undergoing cancer treatment for a long time, passed away yesterday morning. Vidhu was admitted four days ago to James Connolly Hospice. The body is being held at Blanchardstown’s Cunningham Funeral Home. Information about public darshan and culture will be informed later.

Sojin Kurian, a Kottayam native, is Vidhu’s husband. Hannah, their daughter, is ten years old.

Vidhu Sojin, the daughter of A.M.Jacob and Lisamma of Pampady Anivele, moved to Ireland to work as a staff nurse at St. Vincent’s University Hospital a decade and a half ago. Vidhu’s family, who were active members of the Black Rock Malayali community, purchased a home and relocated to Blanchards Town five years ago.
