Dublin: Learner drivers in Ireland are turning to apps such as DriveNow and DrivingTest Helper IE to secure earlier driving test appointments. These apps monitor cancellations across RSA centres and send instant alerts.
DrivingTest Helper IE goes a step further by automatically booking cancellations on behalf of users, reducing the risk of missing available slots. Reviews highlight its effectiveness, with some users securing tests within weeks.
RSA Issues Warning
The Road Safety Authority (RSA) has cautioned applicants that these apps are not affiliated with its services. It stressed that driving tests should only be booked through the official MyRoadSafety portal.
The RSA warned against sharing login details or personal information with third-party apps and advised reporting any concerns to An Garda Síochána. It also clarified it is not liable for fees or misuse of data linked to such services.
