Buenos Aires: Football legend Diego Maradona passed away at the age of 60.
News of Maradona’s death was first reported by some media outlets in Argentina. Reports said that the death was because of heart attack.
Maradona underwent head surgery two weeks ago, after which he returned home to rest.
Maradona’s death was confirmed by ESPN Argentina and sports correspondent Cesar Luis Merlo. “Doctors did their best to save Maradona’s life,” Luis Merlo said on Twitter.
