The two T20 internationals are currently scheduled to be played at the Civil Service Cricket Club (Stormont Cricket Ground) on June 26 and 28. However, the violence that erupted in parts of Belfast last week has prompted discussions about contingency plans to ensure the safety of players, officials and spectators.

The unrest, which followed a stabbing incident, led to several nights of disorder in parts of Belfast. Reports indicated incidents of vehicle burnings, attacks on properties and disruptions to public transport services. Police have made multiple arrests in connection with the disturbances.
