Blackrock celebrates the feast of the death of Saint Joseph

Dublin: The Syro-Malabar Catholic Community Blackrock Mass Centre is celebrating the death anniversary of St. Joseph, Mediator of the Universal Church. On Sunday, March 19, at 4:00 p.m., in the Guardian Angel Church, the solemnity of Saint Joseph, Intercessor of the Parish, Patron of Families, and Intercessor of the Universal Church, is celebrated with devotion.

In preparation for the feast, there will be a Mass and prayers of St. Joseph at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (March 16, 17, 18). At 4 pm on the feast day, there will be a celebratory feast of hymns, procession, vows, and a love feast.

Rev. Joseph Mathew Oliakattil, the parish vicar and Ireland National Coordinator of the Syro-Malabar Church, informed all the devotees that they were warmly welcomed to receive blessings through the intercession of the saint by participating in the rituals.
