Dublin: KCC became champions in the first outdoor cricket tournament organised under the auspices of Castleland Cricket Club. KCC defeated the Meath Royal Challengers in the final.
The two-day cricket tournament featured 24 teams from various regions of Ireland.
Hundreds of cricket fans turned out to watch the game.
The winners received a €500 cash prize and an ever-rolling trophy, while the runners-up received a €300 cash prize and a trophy. AMC took home the trophy as the winners of the losers final. KCC’s Sumer was selected as the best batsman, RCC’s Nitin was selected as the best bowler, and KCC’s Aravind was selected as the man of the match.
