Met Éireann comes up with a Status Yellow rainfall warning for the western and southern counties.
Met Éireann says that there are chances of possible flooding in some areas with rainfall of 30mm to 60mm.
There was a warning released earlier this day for Counties like Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick and this warning will remain until 8 pm tomorrow.
There is also a Status Yellow wind warning for Galway and Mayo as well.
They have also predicted the chances of strong southwest winds that will rage up to 100 kmph.
While these warnings are for certain counties for tomorrow, a similar situation will affect the entire country soon. Met Éireann said that a warning same as the latest one will come into effect at 1am on Saturday until 3pm with strong to gale force southerly winds and some severe gusts are possible.
Drivers are warned about the situation, especially motorists were warned to be extremely vigilant while driving through Galway and Mayo.
Gardaí also said that water bodies were formed on the roads, but no major problems have been reported yet.
Met Éireann predicts the chance of unsettled weather during the Halloween weekend due to a cluster of strong Atlantic weather. This will bring heavy rain and will result in flooding.
