Chennai native dies in Blackrock, Dublin

DUBLIN: Pinnamaneni Chandrasekhara (72), a resident of Seamount on Dublin Blackrock Stillorgan Road and a native of Chennai, has died.

He died on Monday morning while being treated at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Chandrasekhara, who worked as a caretaker at Nurse On Call, was diagnosed with cancer three weeks ago.

His wife Manimegala Bhupathi (Maniyakka) is a staff nurse at St. Vincent’s University Hospital.

Chandrasekhara’s body will be kept at the Funeral Home (ROM MASSEY AND SONS FUNERAL DIRECTORS) opposite the University College Dublin (UCD) at N 11 today (Friday, August 13)  from 10am to 4pm for the public to pay their respects.

Funeral services will be held at 4 pm today at Mount Jerome Crematorium (Mount Jerome Cemetery & Crematorium 158 Harold’s Cross Road, Harold’s Cross Dublin).
