New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Leo Varadkar, who was re-elected as the Prime Minister of Ireland. Modi also shared the hope of moving forward together.
Modi said he deeply values the constitutional values and multilateral cooperation upheld by Ireland’s ruler.
“Congratulations on becoming Prime Minister for the second time, appreciating India’s historic ties and Ireland’s constitutional values “Let’s work together to unleash the full potential of vibrant economies,” Modi said on Twitter.
Leo Varadkar was sworn in as prime minister on Saturday, as agreed by the three-party governing coalition. This is Varadkar’s second term as prime minister.
