Today, India’s Chandrayaan-3 will attempt to land on the moon’s south pole. After the United States, China, and the former Soviet Union, India will be the fourth country to master the technique of soft landing on the lunar surface.
According to experts, the last 15 to 20 minutes of the mission will decide the project’s success when Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram lander with rover Pragyan makes its gentle touchdown.
From 17:20 (IST), the event will be streamed live on the ISRO website, YouTube channel, Facebook, and public broadcaster DD National TV.
