Donate to repatriate the body of an Indian girl who died in Cork

CORK: Phalguni Rathod, an Indian girl and former Munster Technological University student, died of natural causes in Ireland recently.

Phalguni, who graduated from MTU with a Masters degree in artificial intelligence, was working for a company in Cork.

Her company has started an online fundraiser to send her body back to India through the Irish Embassy. The campaign “SUPPORT Phalguni Rathod’s family” is organised by Diane Dullea on the crowdfunding platform GoFundMe.

The donations raised will be used to cover the costs of her body’s repatriation, as well as funeral and burial expenses.

Her company says Phalguni was a talented developer who loved exploring new places, cuisines, meeting new people, and writing blogs. “We would like to honour by helping the family during this horrific time,” said the organiser.
