A poll conducted by international travel experts has selected Ireland’s Donegal airport as the one with the second best scenic landing on earth. The Juancho E Yrausquin Airport of the Caribbean island Saba ranked first in the voting.
Donegal’s regional airport which is located in Carrickfinn has stunning views of the Atlantic ocean.
Last year, Donegal placed seventh on the list – signalling growing global recognition for a tiny airstrip that hosts just two scheduled flights (Dublin and Glasgow).
