Dublin: Engineering, consulting, and operations firm Egis has announced the creation of 100 new roles in Ireland, mainly in engineering, to be filled over the next 12 months.
The announcement was made at the opening of the company’s newly renovated Irish headquarters in Dundrum, Dublin, by Tánaiste Simon Harris, TD.
Egis, part of the France-headquartered Egis Group, employs more than 20,500 people across 100 countries and specialises in designing and operating sustainable infrastructure and buildings.
The expansion will support the State’s €275bn National Development Plan, including major transport and water projects such as Dart+ and the Shannon–Dublin pipeline.
The company recently secured contracts with Transport Infrastructure Ireland, including the operation of the Dublin and Jack Lynch tunnels and monitoring of 1,200 km of motorway.
Mr Harris welcomed the announcement, noting Egis’ strong track record in delivering key national infrastructure and highlighting the importance of investment in meeting Ireland’s growing infrastructure needs.
