EXL to Make Dublin Hub for Global Growth, Creating 200 High-Tech Jobs!

EXL, a data analytics firm, has announced plans to establish its international business headquarters in Dublin, creating up to 200 jobs. This initiative is in collaboration with UCD, supported by the government’s Human Capital initiative, fostering connections between higher education and enterprise to address future skill demands.

The 200 positions in Dublin will include roles in AI, data engineering, and other technology fields, contributing to EXL’s global team of over 8,000 data scientists and 1,500 generative AI experts. These experts are dedicated to developing innovative solutions for complex business challenges, including AI, cloud enablement, and data integration technologies.

Rohit Kapoor, Vice Chairman and CEO of EXL, emphasised the significance of expanding their presence in Ireland, tapping into a highly skilled talent pool, and leveraging Dublin as a pivotal geographic hub for their global operations. They plan to train AI experts in Ireland to drive transformative generative AI advancements, foster innovation, and propel their clients to the forefront of the global AI landscape.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar expressed Ireland’s readiness to serve as an AI innovation hub, lauding EXL’s commitment to collaborating with local research institutions to nurture the next generation of talent.

Mary Buckley, Executive Director of IDA Ireland, welcomed EXL’s decision to establish its international headquarters in Ireland and hire 200 data and AI specialists in Dublin over the next three years.
