DUBLIN: Huge rush to make bookings to get an appointment for shopping in Penneys. The current situation is that customers have to wait more than four hours to get an appointment. The rush shows how excited people are to get out of lockdown.
The non-essential retail sector is reopening from today. Click and Collect services are also returning along with shopping by appointment. All non-essential stores can reopen without an appointment from May 17th.
The discount fashion chain, Primark, opened its website for bookings on Friday. People had to wait all day to get a slot. From this week, each of Primark’s 36 Irish stores will have 100 appointments available every day.
