“Galway City Christmas Market Returns: With Unlimited Fun, Food, and Crafts in the Heart of the City!”

Next month, the eagerly awaited annual Galway City Christmas Market is set to return, promising to infuse the city centre with festive delights for an extended two-month period. The Galway City Council has officially announced that Eyre Square North will undergo a traffic closure from November 5th until January 9th to make way for this spectacular Christmas Market.

With nearly half a million visitors flocking to the event last year and this year’s market duration being even more extensive, the anticipation is building for a record-breaking turnout. Last year, Eyre Square was adorned with over 50 charming wooden cabins, offering a delectable array of bratwurst, pretzels, crêpes, and waffles, adding to the gastronomic charm of the market.

In addition to these culinary delights, visitors were treated to breathtaking views of Galway from atop the Ferris Wheel, family-friendly merriment on the Carousel, and convivial moments with friends in the lively Beer Tent. The Galway City Christmas Market promises to once again captivate the hearts of locals and tourists alike with its festive spirit and diverse offerings.
