€18,000 worth of suspected cocaine along with four guns were seized by gardaí in Dublin.
The items were found during a search in a residential estate in Finglas yesterday evening. The search was carried following the information received connecting to the ongoing investigation of the sale and supply of drugs in Finglas locality.
While inspecting a house and two cars, the gardaí found a gun and €18,000 of suspected cocaine. The drug was divided in small quantities and was properly packed and kept in one of the cars.
While searching the next car, the officials found firearms and ammunition.
Both the vehicles have been seized by the gardaí for further proceedings and the guns have been send to the Ballistics Unit for analysis.
