Ground War: Reserve force of 3.5 million to save Israel

Dublin: In recent developments, Israel has declared the commencement of a ground war in the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict, with the deployment of more than 3.5 million reserve troops from around the world to safeguard the promised land.

A significant milestone was reached at the United Nations General Assembly, where a resolution calling for an immediate end to the Israel-Hamas conflict received substantial international support, including backing from Ireland. The resolution, presented by Jordan, garnered support from 120 countries, while 14 nations expressed objections. Notably, 45 countries, including India, chose to abstain from voting.

The resolution’s primary objectives are the immediate establishment of a ceasefire and the removal of barriers hindering the delivery of aid to those in Gaza. Israel, however, responded by characterising the resolution as defamatory.

Various nations took distinct stances on the matter, with countries such as the United States, Austria, Croatia, Fiji, Hungary, Israel, the Marshall Islands, and Papua New Guinea opposing the resolution. Meanwhile, countries like India, Australia, Canada, Finland, Greece, Iraq, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden, Tunisia, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom were among those abstaining from the vote. Notably, Canada’s proposed amendment to condemn Hamas’s attack did not secure a two-thirds majority.

Israel has accused the international community’s majority of siding with what they describe as “Nazi terrorists” instead of supporting Israel. The conflict remains a subject of intense global concern and debate.

Internet and mobile phone services were disconnected.

A local telecom firm and the Red Cross said internet and mobile phone services had been cut in the Palestinian territories. “The offensive on Gaza has intensified,” Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said during a televised press conference.

He revealed that the Air Force conducts widespread attacks by breaking into tunnels, searching for, and destroying other infrastructure. “The Army has expanded its operations since last night,” he went on to say.

Hamas has urged the international community to ‘act immediately’ to stop Israel’s bombardment. Hamas has urged Arab and Muslim countries, as well as the international community, to accept responsibility and act immediately to put an end to the crimes and massacres against our people.
