India announced their playing XI for third test against Australia; Rohit Sharma will open the batting, Navdeep Saini to make debut

India announced their playing XI for the third Test against Australia in Sydney tomorrow.

Team India had to make two changes from the last match due to the lack of form of opener Mayank Agarwal and the injury of Umesh Yadav.

It has been learned that Rohit Sharma is set to open the batting for India with Shubman Gill, replacing Mayank Agarwal. In the absence of Umesh Yadav being injured, Navdeep Saini has been included in play XI and is set to make his debut. The rest of the line-up remains the same as the Melbourne Test.

Rohit Sharma, who missed the first two tests matches due to injury, has been included in the squad for the last two tests after completing the quarantine in Sydney.

Ajinkya Rahane will continue as captain, while Rohit Sharma will be the new vice captain of the Indian team, replacing Cheteshwar Pujara.
