India defeated Nepal by 10 wickets (DLS), Qualified for the Super 4 stage of Asia Cup 2023

In Pallekele, Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first against Nepal. Both teams have made one change to their starting lineups from their previous encounters against Pakistan.

Mohammed Shami replaces Jasprit Bumrah. Meanwhile, Aarif Sheikh has been replaced in Nepal’s starting XI by Bhim Sharki. However, rain has been a nuisance thus far, causing the game to witness a few stops and starts.

As Nepal totaled a solid 230 before being bowled out in the last over of a must-win Asia Cup match, India’s outfielding and catching were even sloppier than the circumstances.
When it came to a shortened run chase, though, India’s openers were far from careless. Captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill stunned Nepal’s bowling attack by completing a 145-run mark in 23 overs with 17 balls to spare.
