Government’s failure

Congress president Sonia Gandhi demanded that the age limit for vaccination be raised to 25 and that all medical devices and medicines for COVID-19 treatment be exempted from GST.

Lockdown is the only way to prevent virus spread

As the second wave of COVID-19 intensifies in the country, lockdown is the only way to prevent the spread of the disease, says health expert Dr. Agarwal. Agarwal is a senior doctor at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi.

Dr. Agarwal says the genetically mutated virus is spreading in India and will make the situation worse. He said the number of patients was doubling in four to five days. The COVID chain can only be destroyed with a long lockdown. He said the lockdown should be implemented in the country for at least seven days.
