Indian Badminton players Saina Nehwal and HS Prannoy tested Covid positive ahead of Thailand Open

Bangkok: Indian badminton players Saina Nehwal and HS Prannoy are now tested positive for Covid-19.

Covid was confirmed the duo in a test before the Thailand Open. With this, both will lose the tournament. The tournament organizers have advised both of them to stay in hospital for 10 days in isolation.

It was in the third round of testing the players were found to be infected. With this, Saina’s first round opponent Kisona Selvadurai got a walkover to the second round.
