Indian Classical Dance Training now @ Kildare and Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow

Dublin: Under the direction of Ireland’s leading dance teacher, Kalathilakam Rithu Prakash, Kildare and Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow are launching dance training classes for children, including Bharatanatyam.

Beginning February 4th, classes will be held every Saturday afternoon from 2 to 3 p.m. at the CMWS Hall in Kildare.

Dance classes will be held at Rathdrum every Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. beginning February 10th.

The classes are conducted by Kalathilakam Rithu Prakash, a famous dance teacher in Ireland and the director of Rithanjali Dance School. Rithu Prakash, a trained artist and experienced teacher of Indian classical dance for the past 20 years, has hundreds of students all over India. Dr. Neena Prasad and Guru C.V. Rithu Chandrasekhar, who achieved her Masters and M.Phil. in Bharatanatyam from Madras University under Chandrasekhar’s tutelage, now live in County Wicklow, Ireland. Doordarshan’s Graded Artist Rithu is also on the list of ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) shortlisted artists.
