Dublin: The Indian cricket team for the T20I series against Ireland has arrived in Dublin. Wicketkeeper – batsman Dinesh Karthik shared pictures of the Indian team’s arrival in Dublin on Twitter. Karthik has posted a group picture with Deepak Hooda, Rituraj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan, Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Yusvendra Chahal and Akshar Patel.
The two-match India-Ireland series starts on Sunday. Hardik Pandya, who won the Gujarat Titans title in IPL 2022, will lead the Indian team for the first time. Pandya and Karthik made a roaring comeback to the Indian side after a brilliant IPL campaign.
Except Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer, the BCCI has announced the same Indian team that played in the series against South Africa for the Ireland tour. Senior bowler Bhuvaneshwar Kumar is the Vice Captain of the team. Sanju Samson, who led the Rajasthan Royals to the final of IPL, has returned to the team and Rahul Tripathi, who played brilliantly throughout this season, has also found a place.
