International Civil Aviation Day – December 7, 2022

The International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), a specialised organisation within the United Nations, designated December 7 as the day to commemorate the global effect of civil aviation. Flying has permanently altered tourism and industry, not to mention the cultural linkages that have been made possible.

We observe International Civil Aviation Day to recognise the flying industry’s impact on modern living. It’s astonishing to believe that you can transport yourself to almost anyplace in the world in less than 24 hours. Flying has shrunk the world and had a significant influence on our lives. Today, we celebrate the significance of aviation and are grateful that it has opened so many opportunities for all of us.

HOW TO OBSERVE INTERNATIONAL CIVIL AVIATION DAY. Just a small step!

  1. Telling someone how much you appreciate them is one of the most direct—and profound—ways to express your gratitude. On December 7, thank an aviation worker and give them a pat on the back.
  2. If you’re looking for work, conduct some research on the many positions accessible in this field. You’d be amazed by the wide demand for skills.
  3. There are several ways to get involved with the ICAO if you are enthusiastic about assisting nations in their social and economic development. International Civil Aviation Day’s current theme is “Working Together to Ensure No Country is Left Behind.”
