Dublin: The success story of Enterprise Ireland in the export business to the European markets including the Euro zone gives such an indication. A big advantage is that there are no trade barriers including customs checks at EU borders. There are also no foreign exchange related costs due to trading in Euros. Enterprise Ireland’s European Regional Director Anne Lanigan said it was important for each company to identify the best market for their products in Europe.

The director said that Enterprise Ireland is running a four-month Enter the Eurozone programme for Enterprise Ireland members who are not yet targeting the Eurozone.
It will help new exporters to prepare a comprehensive market entry plan for Europe. He also stated that Enterprise Ireland will provide all possible support to make further gains. This opportunity should be taken advantage of. He also reminded companies to consult their development advisors in this regard.
Enterprise Ireland has eight offices in the Eurozone. He explained that they are making all efforts to improve the export trade.
