Ireland vs Netherlands three-match ODI series starts today

The three-match One-Day International (ODI) series between Ireland and the Netherlands will begin today (June 2) at 9:30 am (Irish time).

Ireland’s tour of Netherlands will be part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. The two teams will try to strengthen their positions in order to qualify for the 2023 Cricket World Cup in India.

The hosts recently played an ODI series against Scotland a few weeks ago, while Ireland last played an ODI series against Afghanistan in January of this year. The last time the two teams met in an ODI was in July 2013.

The series will take place in a bio-bubble setting, and fans will not be allowed to enter the stadium.
