Jason David Frank, the Green Power Ranger, died at 49

Jason David Frank (September 4, 1973 – November 19, 2022) was a mixed martial artist and actor from the United States. He was well known as Tommy Oliver in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and later Power Rangers series.

On September 4, 1973, Frank was born in Covina, California. Frank was a Christian who stated that he began attending church after his brother died. In 1994, he married his first wife, with whom he had two boys and a daughter. In 2001, they divorced. He married his second wife, Tammie, in 2003, and the pair had one daughter. Tammie filed for divorce in 2022. Frank died on November 19, 2022, in Texas, at the age of 49.

Frank’s manager, Justine Hunt, confirmed his death in a statement issued on Sunday. She did not specify the cause of death or when he died, but she requested “the privacy of his family and friends at this awful time as we come to grips with the loss of such a lovely human being.”

Walter Emmanuel Jones, the original Black Power Ranger who co-starred with Frank in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, expressed his shock on Instagram. “My heart is sad to have lost another member of our special family,” wrote Jones.
