Massive Pro-Palestinian Rally Draws Tens of Thousands in Dublin

A significant pro-Palestinian demonstration in Dublin drew tens of thousands of participants from across Ireland, converging in the heart of the Irish capital.

Attendees rallied for an end to Israel’s actions in Gaza and called upon the Irish government to take concrete steps to hold Israel accountable for its actions. Organised by the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC), this marked the fifth national mobilisation of its kind.

The gathering commenced at Parnell Square, with participants subsequently marching through the city centre towards the Department of Foreign Affairs at St. Stephen’s Green. Here, amidst performances of both Irish and Palestinian music, speeches were delivered, including addresses by IPSC chairwoman Zoe Lawlor and independent senator Frances Black.

Ms. Lawlor emphasised the importance of maintaining pressure on the government to address Israel’s actions and advocate for accountability for what the IPSC views as crimes.
