According to Google figures, the IPL is the most searched by Indians on Google in 2020.
The other keywords trending on Google are the Corona virus, the US presidential election, the Bihar election and the Delhi election.
The most sought after person among Indians is US President Joe Biden, followed by journalist Arnab Goswami.
The IPL was a huge success, despite the postponement of major sporting events such as the UEFA Euro Cup, the ICC Twenty20 World Cup and the Tokyo Olympics.
IPL 2020 has earned the reputation of being the most watched sports tournament in India. According to Barclays, television viewers recorded 400 billion viewing minutes.
