Dublin: A formal complaint has been filed against a nurse, citing the unauthorised acquisition and consumption of painkillers from the hospital premises. The former partner of the accused revealed that the individual’s actions, involving the pilfering of pain medication, were a significant factor leading to the dissolution of their relationship. In response to these serious allegations, the complainant has reported the matter to the Garda, the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
The Nursing and Midwifery Board has taken swift action by directing its Fitness to Practice Committee to initiate a thorough investigation into the reported misconduct.
