Ongoing Conflict in Tel Aviv: Casualties Rise to Over 1,600 as Israel-Hamas Conflict Intensifies

The Israel-Hamas conflict shows no signs of abating, as the death toll surpasses 1,600. Among the tragic losses, 900 Israelis and 700 Gazans have lost their lives. Israel conducted airstrikes on Gaza throughout the night, confirming the targeting of 1,290 Hamas-related sites.

Furthermore, Israel reported 30 of its citizens being taken hostage, with Hamas issuing a chilling warning of public executions. Along the Lebanese border, clashes erupted, resulting in the loss of seven Hezbollah members and injuries to six Israelis.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indicated that the Gaza airstrikes mark only the beginning, emphasising that Hamas attackers remain within Israel’s borders. Concurrently, U.S. President Joe Biden expressed his condemnation of the Hamas attack, confirming that 11 American citizens had tragically lost their lives. President Biden reiterated the United States’ unwavering support for Israel and pledged to provide any necessary assistance.
