Shaheen Shah Afridi played a crucial role in the late overs with an unbeaten 13 off five balls, including two sixes in the 19th over, securing the win.

Pakistan’s decision to bowl first after winning the toss proved effective as Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Amir dominated the powerplay, restricting Ireland. Haris Rauf and Imad Wasim also contributed with key wickets, with Imad bagging three and Shaheen taking three wickets while Amir claimed two. Barry McCarthy and Curtis Campher were notable for Ireland, taking three and two wickets, respectively.
