Passenger arrested on flight without passport and boarding pass

Dublin: A man who boarded an Aer Lingus flight without a passport or boarding pass was arrested. He was brought to the Criminal Court and fined 700 euros for trespassing at Dublin Airport and for not producing a passport.

The 40-year-old man went through security without a passport or boarding pass at Dublin Airport. Aer Lingus also boarded the aircraft. The DA stated that they are looking into how this occurred. Garda also confirmed the incident.

An Aer Lingus spokesperson said that the Aer Lingus boarding agents and staff at the gate were tricked into boarding the flight.
