Physiotherapist Sivakumar Murugadoss to Run as Independent Candidate in Meath East for Upcoming General Election

Ratoath-based physiotherapist Sivakumar Murugadoss has announced his candidacy as an independent in the upcoming General Election for the Meath East constituency. Murugadoss, who previously stood as an independent in June’s local elections for the Ashbourne area, brings over two decades of experience living in Ireland and has run a successful physiotherapy clinic in Ashbourne since 2008.

“I’ve spent the last 21 years in Ireland, building both my career and my life here in Ratoath,” Murugadoss stated. “I understand the unique strengths and challenges facing our community. As a healthcare professional deeply committed to public service, I’m eager to make a meaningful contribution.”

Murugadoss highlighted his commitment to supporting local initiatives, improving healthcare and education, and building connections within the community. “As an RCSI alumnus, I am passionate about the role of education and have experienced firsthand how our healthcare and education systems can evolve to better serve families. My wife, Kalpana, and I have two children who attend school locally, and, like many of you, I’m dedicated to creating the best future for our families and communities.”

He concluded, “Together, we can work toward a brighter future, and I’m ready to play an active role in achieving it.”
