Sinn Féin has seen a rise in support following the latest opinion poll.
The poll, by the Business Post/Red C, has shown the party’s support rose to 30%, up three points.

The poll has showed that the party’s support has spiked to 30%, up by three points.
This is considered to be the highest level that Mary Lou McDonald’s party has achieved since Red C’s polling. Red C has started the polling way back in 2003.
While Sinn Féin climbs up, Fine Gael has dropped four points. But still Fine Gael is the most popular party in the country. It has a 33% of supporters.
Fianna Fáil and the Green Party are at 12% and 3% respectively. The Social Democrats and Solidarity-People Before Profit both were up by one point and are currently at 4% and 3% levels respectively. Labour (3%), Aontu (2%) or Independents (8%) hasn’t recorded any changes.
The poll was taken ahead of the Government’s announcement to reopen society from the Level 5 lockdown. The government had announced that Ireland will move to Level 3 restrictions from December 1 onwards, with certain restrictions in place ahead of Christmas.
All retail, including non-essential stores re-open along with gyms, churches, museums, galleries and cinemas will be allowed to be functioning at Level 3.
By re-opening of retail, more than 30,000 people will be returning to work.
1,000 people participated in the poll, which was taken on Thursday, November 19 and Wednesday, November 25.
