Ryanair Expands Free Carry-On Bag Size Across All Airports

Dublin: Ryanair has completed the rollout of larger carry-on bag sizers across its 235 European airports, allowing passengers to bring a free personal bag measuring 40 x 30 x 20cm — 33% bigger than the EU standard.

The bag must fit under the seat, while a second carry-on is permitted through the airline’s Priority Boarding service. “We hope customers will enjoy these bigger, free carry-on bag sizes,” said Ryanair CMO Dara Brady, warning that non-compliant bags will incur a checked baggage fee at the gate.
