Cork: Preparations for the sevens football tournament organised in Mallow under the auspices of FACE Ireland have been completed. On Saturday, July 22nd, the Mallow GAA ground in Cork will host a football extravaganza, with hundreds of sports enthusiasts and football fans expected to attend.
Ireland’s leading socio-cultural organisation, ‘Face Ireland’, is taking a step in the field of sports for the first time by preparing this football spectacle. FACE Ireland (The Foundation for the Advancement of Cultural Exchange) is a Cork-based foundation founded in 2019 with the goal of bridging the gap between Irish and Indian cultures.
When the Indian teams that have won in different parts of Ireland line up in the tournament, they have a massive line-up of full-stop defensive lines and players who can fire into the goal area at any time.
The winners will receive a 501 Euro first prize sponsored by TileX, a 251 Euro second prize sponsored by Fairy Hill Nursing Home, and other prizes sponsored by Paul’s Cuisine, Asian Mix, and Apache Pizza. In addition, all contestants will receive a 50-euro TileX gift card.
Face Ireland has announced that all sports fans are welcome to attend the football match this coming Saturday.
