Dublin: According to the latest Business Post Red C survey, Sinn Féin has experienced a resurgence in popularity, climbing from 25 points last month to 28 points. Conversely, Fine Gael’s popularity remained stable at 20 points, while Fianna Fáil saw a slight decline from 17 to 16 points since the end of January. Independent candidates witnessed a modest increase in support by one point, with the Social Democrats now standing at 14%, while Labour’s backing remained consistent at 4%.
Meanwhile, the Green Party’s image dipped by one point to 3%, with no change in popularity observed for parties like People Before Profit (PBP) and Aontú, both holding steady at 3%. The survey, conducted from February 16 to February 21, provides insights into the shifting dynamics of political support in Ireland.
