Song of an Indian musician who pays tribute to Maradona goes viral

DUBLIN: The song written by Charles Antony, a musician from Kerala, India, in tribute to the late football legend and friend Diego Maradona, is getting attention all over the world.

The song was first shared by Charles Antony on the ‘Malayala Manorama’ channel in Kerala.

When Maradona arrived in Kerala eight years ago, Charles attracted the football legend by singing Spanish songs. The incident took place at a function held in Kannur, Kerala. The song, which was sung in Spanish to wish Maradona a happy birthday, received a lot of attention on that day.

Charles Antony is a native of Ernakulam district in Kerala. He has been active in the music industry for over 20 years as a guitarist and singer. The presence of Charles will be seen in most of the ceremonies held in his native land.
