The Gardaí seized five million euros worth of drugs in Tala

The Gardaí seized five million euros worth of drugs in Tala. A large haul of drugs was seized during a search of Dublin’s suburbs on Friday afternoon on the basis of intelligence report.

No arrests have been made so far in the incident.

Officers from the Tala Drugs Unit and the Garda in Tala jointly seized 76.9 kg of ecstasy pills and 8.27 kg of MDMA stored in two large plastic barrels.

Garda said the seized drugs were valued at around five million euros and would be subjected to a detailed inspection.

The place where the drugs were seized is under the protection of the Garda for technical inspection.
