Cavan: The Indian community in Cavan is planning an unforgettable Christmas and New Year’s celebration. The event will include both New Year’s Eve and Christmas celebrations. The celebration is planned for the evening of the 29th at the Bellina Community Center in Cavan Bellina.
The gathering will be made more enjoyable by a haystack, a welcoming Santa, and entertaining skits and cultural programmes. The organisers have prepared a grand Christmas dinner. The festivities begin in the evening and continue till the dawn of the New Year.
Children aged 5 to 12 will be charged 15 euros to participate in the event. Admission is free for children under five.
Ahead of Christmas, a house-to-house Christmas carol service began yesterday. The organising committee has informed that the carol service will continue every Saturday until Christmas.
