Dublin: Toyota is entering the Irish insurance market with new, exclusive motor insurance products for Toyota and Lexus owners. The offering is a partnership between Toyota Insurance Services and German insurer Wrisk Europe, specialising in tailored cover for car manufacturers.
Available only to Toyota and Lexus drivers, the policies are designed to reflect the brand’s quality standards, with transparent cover, competitive pricing and a fully digital experience. The insurance includes vehicle-specific benefits such as battery and charging cable cover for hybrid and electric models, wallbox charger protection, guaranteed repairs using genuine parts, no-claims bonus protection and flexible “any driver” options.
Toyota Ireland said the products are competitively priced and add value for customers, though there are currently no plans to introduce all-in-one subscription packages covering finance, servicing and insurance.
The move adds a new player to Ireland’s insurance sector, where competition has weakened in recent years, and marks a further expansion of Wrisk Europe in the European market.
