Waterford: A tragic event has occurred as Jude Sebastian Padayati, a 38-year-old Indian native of Angamaly (Kerala), was discovered deceased in his residence yesterday evening. This unfortunate incident transpired while Jude’s wife and children were away on a holiday, having departed the previous day.
Upon her return to the country, Jude’s wife made multiple attempts to contact him via phone but was unable to establish communication. In response, she enlisted the assistance of friends and local authorities to investigate the situation. The Gardaí promptly attended the scene and initiated further inquiries.
Jude, an esteemed employee of Cigna Care Nursing Home, was actively involved with the Kranthi organisation and various other Indian community groups in Waterford. Seven years ago, Jude, along with his family, relocated to Ireland. His wife, Francena Frances, holds the role of a staff nurse at Waterford University Hospital, and they are parents to two young children, Anru Jude Padayati (aged three) and Elisha Jude Padayati (aged two).
The body will be cremated later in the country.
