Melbourne: Injured pacer Umesh Yadav is likely to miss the third Test against Australia.
Umesh, who suffered a leg injury while bowling, was paralyzed and returned from the field. The player was immediately subjected to scanning. ANI reported, citing sources close to the team, that Umesh will not be able to play in the third Test.
With this, Tamil Nadu pace bowler Natarajan may get a chance to make his Test debut.
Although not part of the Test team, Natarajan is still with the team in Australia as a net bowler. According to reports, he is performing well in the nets.
