Volkswagen Taigun will hit Indian market soon

Mid-size SUV in India will be having a new guest soon. The Taigun, a model that German automaker Volkswagen plans to bring to the range, is expected to arrive soon.

The teaser of this model has appeared on the official website of Volkswagen with hints for this. A teaser revealing the design styles has been released.

The vehicle is based on the MQB AO IN platform developed by Volkswagen India. The Taigun is also the first vehicle in the Volkswagen Group’s India 2.0 project.

SUV It is learned that the Taigun will be powered by the same engine as the model Vision-In. 1.5 liter TSI in Skoda’s mid-size. The Vision-In is powered by a turbocharged petrol engine. This is 148 bhp. Indications are that it will generate power. The transmission is a seven speed dual clutch.

The dual tone bumper with a muscular look makes the front attractive. Taigun’s facelift features include a chrome – plated Volkswagen signature grille, dual beam headlamp, LED DRL, fog lamp with cladding, large air dam and skid plate.

Black finish wheel arch and 19 inch dual tone diamond cut alloy wheels are provided on the black finish B pillar, window frame and roof rail sides. The highlight at the rear is the LED strip that connects the two tail lamps and the dual tone bumper provided by the squid plate. The roof is in dual tone.

The interior of the concept model is finished in black body color dual tone. The interior features a touch screen infotainment system, digital instrument console, leather seats, dual zone AC, rear AC vents and a mobile charging slot.
